< 1 min read
How to start and operate the blower:
- Fill the blower with regular 87 octane fuel
- Turn the key to the “on” position
- Press the priming button 3-5 times
- Pull the choke lever out
- Pull the pull cord. It should only take 1-2 pulls to start the engine
- Allow the engine to warm up for a couple of minutes
- Push the choke lever in. The engine RPMs should increase, and the engine will run smoothly
- To engage the paddle, pull the handle back toward you. The paddle will help pull the blower along as it clears snow
- Use the chute adjustments to throw the snow in your desired direction
How to shut down the blower:
- Turn the key to the “off” position
- Clear excess snow from the body and chute areas before loading the machine back up
If the blower bogs down or gets clogged:
- Turn off the machine
- Check to see if there is packed snow, slush or ice behind the paddle or in the chute
- Use a stick or broom handle to clear away the excess snow or slush
- Re-start the machine and test it out. It should work better
